My goodness have I been away. Deaths in the family, moving, PhD work and so on, I've slept little and been awake even less. As a brief artistic update, a bit of some of my favorite phrases!

...okay I won't be a total babelummox, here's the translation, "these are the last days, the worst of times, let us keep watch." Delightful in its ominous quality.

"If, my dear, you seek to slumber; Count of stars an endless number." ~A friend of mine quoted this to me recently, I believe it was originally said by Franklin Pierce Adams.

A babelummox, by the bye, is a term I've coined for someone who'll quote something in its original tongue, but then not have the courtesy to tell anyone what it means in the language everyone else happens to be speaking.


So anyhoo, my PhD work continues! I'm now working on 3D games, complete with cameras and whatnot. I still work on Fisticuffs when I have time (which seems to be less and less these days... anyone with time on their hands willing to give me a high five?) and I've got a number of images I've been trying to accomplish, including the finishing of the Tatsunoko vs Nintendo image. That one's almost done with a full background and so on, and over half of the characters properly inked, colored and shaded but... there's that pesky time thing again.
