Super Smash Bros Brawl is on its way! So I've been doing concept sketches of characters that haven't been announced yet, but I'm hoping will make it in. A lot of people have mentioned a Tetris themed level to me, but when they try to describe it, it never sounds like it would be very easy or fun to fight on, mostly due to all of the blocks constantly appearing and disappearing... but then I realized it would work if you mixed it with Tetris's OTHER theme... RUSSIAN STUFF! So here's an Avenue under assault from a constant barrage of Tetraminoes on a cold Winter's day. The main area has two 'platforms' that occasionally vanish as blocks come in from the foreground and strike out other blocks. Beneath these are some stationary tetris pieces which act as a last chance for someone who falls down below... although if you get slammed into the walls hard enough you won't be coming back up
And of course, there's my shoddy rendition of the Kremlin in the background.
I kinda pictured a Tetris level "inside" the puzzle itself as the pieces are falling. Sadly didn't have that in Brawl, but can at least make my own with the original music.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
